This project consists of a three-story, 57,500-square-foot public safety building. This facility houses the police department headquarters, the city jail, E911 center, and the city courtroom.  The building also includes an ICC-500 storm shelter.  A steel pedestrian bridge links the upper parking lot to the building.  The structural system for the building includes steel framing and composite floors, with substantial [concrete] retaining walls integral to the building due to a significantly sloping site.
