The project consists of a three-story, 152,275 square foot campus recreation center. The center includes a four-court gymnasium, game room, multi-purpose court gymnasium, five racquetball courts, a 10,000 square foot natatorium, multi-purpose fitness room, four additional fitness rooms, locker areas and a four-lane track among other amenities. A wide variety of structural systems were utilized in this building including cast-in-place concrete, structural steel frame, composite floors, precast double tees and long span steel joists. Foundations are drilled piers bearing on rock.
