This project consists of a new 30,000 square foot two-story police station near the Glen Iris neighborhood. Special components of the project include hardened areas for the core operations, generators, etc., secure parking areas, underground detention, as well as facilitating construction around the existing police station while keeping police operations active. The structural system is structural steel frame with composite floors and shallow foundations.
