Mr. Drew Thornbury started the MBA Geotechnical Division in 2020 and has 18 years of progressive responsibility in managing geotechnical and construction material testing projects. Drew is responsible for management and engineering from design through construction including coordination and communication with clients, municipalities, contractors, and sub-contractors, preparing project scope and budget, developing field investigations and laboratory testing programs, completing engineering analyses and preparing and reviewing technical reports. 

Drew has worked on numerous projects across the South to assist contractors, developers, owner,s and architects to achieve consistent adherence to project specifications. He has experience in shallow and deep foundation design and inspections, load testing of deep foundations, construction material testing, foundation remediation grouting, and design specifications. Drew was named to the 2019 Associated General Contractors of Alabama “Top 40 Under 40 in Construction.”
